Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent role. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Two-person, fully on-site position located in Little River-Academy, TX (on-campus housing).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for married couples (both spouses must apply)
- Couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
