Job Summary
Two-person married couple sought as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside on Milton Hershey School campus in Missoula County, MT, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and handling budgeting and reporting. The role involves a nine-on, three-off schedule initially, with progression to a placed houseparent assignment, and includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities for students
- Desire to lead students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Capacity to drive and supervise student activities
- On-campus housing expectation and long-term commitment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prolonged caregiving and supervisory duties for minors
