Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support, including administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household routines and budgets. The role starts with a nine days-on, three days-off schedule across multiple homes and may transition to a Placed Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation assistance is provided and the position requires a legally married couple (both spouses) with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person married couple with at least two years of legal marriage
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
