Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School campus in Hudson, OH. Partners reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing mentorship, managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from initial nine-on/three-off duty to a Placed Houseparent assignment living and working with the same group of students. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and eligibility to drive student vans. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
