Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including supervision of routines, medications, driving to activities, planning and leading development and recreation, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group. On-site relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-year legally married partnership for both spouses, ages 27+, with experience working with youth and a commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
