Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. The position involves residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and development support for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transportation to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and accompanying students to Chapel. Initially a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with future placement in a fixed student home. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and live on-campus
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and accompany them to Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- Comfort with family-style housing and supervising 8–13 students
