Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off cadence, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 (approximately $168,000 total per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and time off. Requires legally married couples, both spouses age 27+, valid U.S. driver’s license, and youth-focused experience; on-campus relocation to Hershey, PA is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes and work a nine-on/three-off schedule for initial phase
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples being considered for the position
- The role requires relocation to Hershey, PA
