Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and developmental support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning over time to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation assistance provided and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Eligibility for two-spouse employment
- Experience with youth preferred
