Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for two-person married couple serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (on-campus housing)
