Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and guidance, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA with on-campus housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits included; relocation assistance provided. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student home vans, and being part of a legally married couple for at least two years who are both age 27 or older.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Willingness to reside on campus with students and supervise a group of 8–13 students
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in a school/community setting

- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
