Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for two-person, fully on-campus Houseparent role. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental and recreational activities, and lead daily devotions and chapel visits. Role progresses from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and being legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. Must foster a safe, alcohol-free, weapon-free campus and support youth development across multiple homes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
