Youth Development Specialist - Relocation to Hershey, PA

Youth Development Specialist role for Milton Hershey School requires a two-person married couple to live on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in a on-campus student home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, managing student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 per couple total), plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Qualifications include youth experience, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to lead religious devotions and chapel services; both spouses must apply and be at least 27 years old.
