Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students, manage household routines, supervise medications and student wellness, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine-days-on/three-days-off schedules to a placed houseparent arrangement in the same student home. Requires married couples, both spouses age 27+, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with religiously aligned activities; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
