Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. After an initial period, they transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. The role requires commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Milton Hershey School offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a total compensation around $168,000 per couple. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
