Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students, manage daily routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person with relocation assistance and comprehensive health benefits; candidates must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model behavior for students
- Must complete individual employment applications by both spouses
- Relocation and paid training provided
