Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School, serving as a two-person married couple to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent living in the same student home. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple when including housing, meals, utilities, and benefits). Relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license with van-driving certification ability, being legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27+, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; experience with youth is preferred.
