Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: married couples live in on-campus student homes (8–13 students per home) and provide supervision, mentorship, and activities, including managing routines, medications, driving to activities, coordinating devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Initial nine-days-on, followed by three days off schedule with eventual placement in a single student home; relocation assistance and paid training provided; comprehensive benefits and housing included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse household (two-person role) for couples married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
