Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist roles for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus in student homes (8–13 students). Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Relocation assistance provided; salary per person is $44,768 with comprehensive benefits; compensation totals around $168,000 per couple including housing and meals. Requires experience with youth, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with alcohol not permitted on duty.
Required Qualifications

- Two-person role for couples
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
