Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) at Milton Hershey School, relocating to Hershey, PA, to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of ~813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
