Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for Milton Hershey School who will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role requires a married two-person team living on-campus in student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students, including daily routines, medications administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and chapel attendance. Responsibilities include managing household schedules, budgeting, reporting, and engaging students in academic, emotional, and social development, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning later to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Beneficial relocation support and comprehensive benefits provided; role requires both spouses to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with youth
- Ability to live and work with a two-person couple
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Compliance with campus rules (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
