Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in an on-campus home while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and actively lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs including daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social growth. This two-person role requires married couples (minimum two years together) aged 27 or older, both holding a high school diploma or GED, with a valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student home vans. The position involves a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Couples must commit to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol permitted on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
