Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents (married couples) live on-campus in student homes in Hershey, PA, and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, including managing routines, medications, transportation to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role includes budgeting and household reporting, transitioning from a flexible assignment to a placed Houseparent, comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance, required to be aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. For consideration, both spouses must submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
