Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support; duties include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, life/disability insurance, paid time off, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
