Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting/reporting. Schedule initially comprises nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
