Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for a two-person, married-couple team serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a residential campus for 2,200+ students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, directing daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent with a stable student home. Requires on-campus residence, on-duty schedule of nine days on followed by three off, relocation to Hershey/near campus, and adherence to campus policies including smoke-free and weapon-free restrictions. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
