Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) live on-campus in Hershey, PA to supervise 8–13 students in a student home, providing care, guidance, supervision, and developmental activities. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a career path from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. Relocation assistance is provided and the compensation is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple) along with comprehensive benefits and housing. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse commitment; both spouses must apply individually
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
