Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students, manage routines, administer medications, drive to activities, lead daily devotions, and participate in budgeting and reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in the same student home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; includes housing, meals during duty, and benefits. Requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses 27 or older, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; High school diploma or GED accepted. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Placed Houseparent transition to live-in home with same group of students
