Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent couple on Milton Hershey School campus providing care, supervision, and development support for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
