Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist – a two-person full-time flex houseparent role for married couples residing in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, supervision of routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions; initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Responsibilities include managing household routines, planning activities, budgeting and reporting, ensuring student wellness, and supporting academic, emotional, and social development; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and being legally married for at least two years with both spouses age 27 or older; position requires two-person commitment and on-campus housing with families.
