Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition into a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
