Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples to live on campus as Flex Houseparents in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting/reporting. The position starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and can transition to a placed Houseparent living arrangement with same group of students. Requires a two-year marriage minimum, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience with youth, and compliance with a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
