Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Live on-campus in student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a phased schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Requires two-spouse, legally married partnership for at least two years, both spouses 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA. Benefits include salary per person ~44,768 annually (approx. 168,000 total per couple with housing/meal benefits), relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and Paid Time Off. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications. Prospective candidates should have experience with youth and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Proselytizing prohibited during Chapel activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
