Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couples) reside on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and guide a group of approximately 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and supervision, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement into a Placed Houseparent position living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse employment applications—both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
