Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for a two-person married couple serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus, providing care, supervision, and development-focused activities for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, administering medications, planning and participating in activities, leading devotions and chapel visits, budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like home environment. Initially scheduled for nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same student group. Relocation provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and housing/meals during duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
