Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with an initial schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off and eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No alcohol on duty and smoke-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
