Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on-campus in student homes and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. After hire, couple starts with a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA is included as part of employment; compensation includes salary per person and comprehensive benefits, with relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
