Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. A two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and accompany Chapel services, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and engage in developmental/recreational activities. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes and transitions into a placed houseparent with a fixed student home. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid training, and on-duty meals/utilities. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a safe, weapon- and smoke-free campus; position is a two-person, fully on-campus residence role with mandatory applications for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and reside on campus
