Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed for Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on campus to supervise and guide a group of 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support to promote academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driveraicense and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
