Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School, on-campus student homes housing ~813 students; provide supervision, mentorship, and care, including medication administration, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially a nine-on / three-off schedule with a transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student home. Requires a married couple (both spouses) aged 27 or older, HS diploma/GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver license, and adherence to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation to Hershey, PA with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person suitability and marriage requirement
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
