Job Summary
Two-person, married couple will reside on campus as Flex Houseparents, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 813 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with continuity in a single student home. The role requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
