Youth Development Specialist - Relocation to Hershey, PA

Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial nine days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same students. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. The role requires current high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and age 27 or older to apply, and both must complete individual applications.
