Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. A married-couple team resides in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students; responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and implementing developmentally-focused activities. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple student homes and may transition to a placed houseparent assignment with a consistent home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, willingness to obtain driving certification for student transport, and a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and a drug- and alcohol-free campus. Applicants must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism

- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA for on-campus housing
