Youth Development Specialist - Relocation to Hershey, PA

Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role for married couples at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three off to a placed houseparent with the same students. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (+ additional total compensation for the couple), relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and training. Qualifications include experience with youth, legal marriage for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, up to three dependent children, valid U.S. driver’s license with eligibility to drive student vans, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty.
