Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, where married couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, mentorship, supervision of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting, and transition from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent while working a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule. Requires both spouses to complete individual applications and offers relocation assistance with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement with both spouses applying
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
