Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus live in student homes (approx. 8–13 students) and provide supervision, mentorship, and care to foster students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, managing schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/house reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation is $44,768 per person annually with full benefits and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and that both spouses are legally married for at least two years and age 27+, with applications to be completed individually by both spouses.

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- On duty, alcohol not permitted; campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; pet restrictions (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
