Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist couple role: Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students; duties include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires a two-person, legally married couple (27+) prepared to relocate to Hershey, PA; includes relocation assistance and paid training. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, and housing/meal utilities on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two years married (at least two years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
