Job Summary
Two-person Full-time role: Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The position begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and ultimately transitions to residing with the same group of students in a dedicated home. The role requires a legally married couple, both spouses aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; relocation to Hershey, PA is provided along with comprehensive benefits, housing, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
