Job Summary
Supervise students in classrooms and educational settings while reinforcing academic and behavioral expectations. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and adolescents to support their academic, social, and emotional growth. Implement individualized learning and behavior support plans, monitor progress, and document observations to inform interventions. Facilitate character-building activities, lead educational enrichment and after-school programs, and promote positive peer interactions. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, home staff, and counselors to create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment. This full-time on-site role in Hershey, Pennsylvania, requires trauma-informed practices and offers competitive compensation with medical, dental, and retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with youth in educational, residential, or community-based programs
- Understanding of child and adolescent development
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to de-escalate challenging situations
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
- Full-time employment

Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in education, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Youth development or teaching certifications
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Crisis intervention training
