Job Summary
Supervise students in classrooms and educational settings while reinforcing academic and behavioral expectations. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and adolescents to support their academic, social, and emotional growth. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, home staff, and counselors to implement individualized learning and behavior support plans. Monitor student progress, document observations, and facilitate character-building activities that foster resilience and leadership. Lead educational enrichment and after-school programs in alignment with the school's mission. Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with youth in educational, residential, or community-based programs
- Understanding of child and adolescent development
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to de-escalate challenging situations
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
- Full-time role based on campus in Hershey, Pennsylvania
- Primarily on-site work environment
- Occasional flexible hours to support evening or weekend student activities
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in education, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Youth development or teaching certifications
- CPR/First Aid
- Crisis intervention training
