Youth Development Specialist

Job Summary
Supervise students in classrooms and educational settings while reinforcing academic and behavioral expectations. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and adolescents to support their academic, social, and emotional growth. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and counselors to implement individualized learning and behavior support plans, monitor progress, and document observations. Facilitate character-building activities, after-school programs, and co-curricular events that foster resilience and leadership. This full-time role is based on campus in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with occasional flexible hours for evening or weekend activities.

- Prior experience working with youth in educational, residential, or community-based programs
- Understanding of child and adolescent development

Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in education, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Youth development or teaching certifications
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Crisis intervention training
